Hunter Valley Cookies
"just like grandma used to bake!" not just a tagline but the motivation behind the very existence of Hunter Valley Cookies. One morning tea time Sheryl Machain and her sister sipped on a cup of tea and nibbled a mass produced bikkie as they reminisced about how their  Nan used to bake scrumptious treats in her old wood fueled stove. "You know we should bake cookies and sell them at the markets" - and they did!

Over ten years later Hunter Valley Cookies bakes thousands of cookies per week to supply cafes, coffee lounges, clubs and resteraunts as well as the Hunter Valley Cookies factory retail outlet  at Hunter Valley Gardens Village in Pokolbin.

Morpeth Sourdough
A family company, Morpeth Sourdough was established in 2003 to continue the family tradition of baking in the Hunter Valley, NSW. Stephen Arnott, a 6^thgeneration baker, is the grandson of Geoffrey Arnott (Chairman of Arnott’s prior to the takeover) and the great great great grandson of William Arnott, the founder of Arnott’s Biscuits, who established bakeries in Morpeth & Maitland in the 1860’s. The Arnott family is back in baking and will make certain we remain an Australian family company. Our family’s policy is quality guaranteed and we aim to continue this tradition.

Morpeth Sourdough products are hand-made and contain premium quality ingredients with minimal additives and preservatives. They have a wholesome and natural taste, just like the good old days!
